eCapitol news director Shawn Ashley discusses a workers' compensation tax credit. Lawmakers thought they had ended the tax credit in 2011, but failed to rewrite the tax code, so tax credits totally about 40 million dollars a year have been paid out over the past 5 years. Governor Mary Fallin has issued an executive order stopping payment of the tax credits.
